Bambu Lab PLA Pure Apricot is a specially developed PLA filament for users who want to print safely at home, in schools and workshops, while minimizing their ecological footprint. The Refill version is supplied without a plastic spool and is designed to be mounted on the Bambu Lab Reusable Spool, significantly reducing single-use plastic.

The Apricot (color code 17300) shade offers a soft, pastel orange color ideal for children's toys, home accessories, decorations and prototypes where a pleasant and non-aggressive appearance is important.

Printing Recommendations

Specific values may vary by printer and environment – use them as a starting point.

Nozzle temperature: approx. 190–220 °C
Bed temperature: approx. 35–60 °C (can also be printed on a colder bed with a suitable adhesive layer)
Printing speed: medium PLA speeds; for best quality and consistency, more conservative settings are recommended rather than extremely fast printing
Fan: medium to high cooling for sharp details and bridges

The filament is ready for direct use in Bambu Lab profiles (type, temperature, color), minimizing parameter tuning and shortening preparation time.

Ecology and Health

PLA Pure is based on renewable resources (e.g. corn, sugar cane) and uses additives known from food packaging, children's tableware and toys. Low printing emissions and detailed documented composition help creators who need to meet stricter hygiene and safety requirements for their products.
