Overview
PolyLight 1.0 is an in-house developed LW-PLA for exceptionally lightweight prints with active foaming. At higher hotend temperatures, the material increases in volume more than twofold, so you can print significantly more volume from one spool at a lower weight – ideal especially for single-wall parts and RC models.
- Minimum approx. 2.3× foaming (typically 1–3× depending on temperature and speed).
- Up to ~65% lower weight and up to ~270% increase in volume compared to standard PLA.

Tips for success
- Reduce flow/extrusion multiplier according to the chosen degree of foaming (the higher the temperature, the lower the flow).
- Minimize "travel moves" for lower stringing; any fibers are easily removed.
- Store the material in a resealable bag and in a dry place; if it gets damp, dry at approximately 50–55 °C for several hours.
